Polymer Research Laboratory

In the Polymer Research Laboratory, two separate experimental studies are carried out:
"Polymer synthesis" and "Polymer applications"
"Polymer synthesis" and "Polymer applications"
Polymer Synthesis
At the Polymer Synthesis, we design and synthesize innovative polymeric structures with tunable chemical functionalities. Our research focuses on hyper-crosslinked polymers (HCPs), functionalized hydrogels, nanofiber membranes, and advanced polymer composites.
Using techniques such as;
- ATRP
- RAFT
- Friedel–Crafts polymerization
- Heterogen Polymerisations
- Emulsion
- Suspension
- Dispersion
- Gel Synthesis
- Hydrogel
- Cryogel
- Microgel and so on...
We create tailor-made materials with controlled porosity, surface chemistry, and stability. These polymers serve as the foundation for next-generation catalysts and adsorbents addressing energy and environmental challenges.
Polymer Applications
In the Polymer Application experiments, it is bridged polymer science with real-world functionality. Here, we evaluate our synthesized materials in hydrogen generation, VOC filtration, CO₂ adsorption, and water purification studies.
Equipped with custom-built reactors and analytical systems, this lab enables detailed kinetic, catalytic, and adsorption performance testing. The goal is to transform polymer innovations into sustainable solutions for clean energy and environmental protection.
